Our team is lean, but mighty. At our core, is Hector and Ev, a duo of content creators who spent years working together in the communications department at a rapidly growing organization. It was in this setting that they honed their craft, and recognized the need for content-based storytelling for companies across all industries. Now, their joint effort within Glowing Moon Media is to help other companies find a fix to their content challenges.

With over 10 years in branding and storytelling, Hector began his career in the music industry as an audio engineer and producer before pivoting to content solutions. He spent four years at one of the top non-profit organizations in the country, crafting storytelling assets for branding, fundraising, and strategic partnerships. His work at the time also included partnering with national brands like Colgate and Freshpet to execute their content strategies as well. At Glowing Moon, he serves as the production lead, working with you every step of the way to ensure that all creative solutions are executed smoothly from start to finish.

ev malcolm
After years of schooling and experience in the worlds of creative writing and journalism, Ev developed an interest in the medium of visual storytelling, learning to combine all of those skills effectively. The journey from independent freelancer to nonprofit content team manager led him to regular work with graphics creation, social media management, and photo/video productions ranging from candid captures to corporate-level event coverage. At the heart of all of this he found that connecting authentically with clients and camera subjects produces the best outcomes, cutting through much of the anxiety and industry B.S. that prevents people from enjoying the creative process. At Glowing Moon he serves as an executive producer, helping with everything from shoot logistics to on-set client direction to final project editing.
